About This Project

Make a colorful rainbow that pops up from a paper plate. This craft is great for St. Patrick's Day or learning about weather.

Cut the paper plate

Fold the paper plate in half. Ask an adult to help you cut a semi-circle out of the middle of the paper plate to make an arch.

Color the rainbow

Use the rainbow crayon to color the arch you cut out.

Paint the sky

Paint the bottom part of the paper plate blue to make the sky. Then, glue cotton balls onto the blue paint to make clouds. Let the paint and glue dry.

Display your rainbow

Fold the rainbow arch so it pops up. Put it somewhere so everyone can see it!
