Build a leprechaun trap to catch a mischievous visitor on St. Patrick's Day! This craft is easy to make and full of creative possibilities. It encourages problem-solving, storytelling, and plenty of laughs.

Build the ladder and cut a hole in the bag.

First, cut the popsicle sticks in half. Then, glue the cut pieces into a ladder shape. Ask an adult for help if you need it. Next, cut a hole in the side of the paper bag. This is where the leprechaun will jump in!

Print and cut out the template.

Download and print the Leprechaun Trap Template. Then, cut out the template pieces. These will be decorations for your leprechaun trap.

Decorate the trap.

Glue the decorations onto the bag. Be creative and decorate the trap however you like!
