Make a colorful fizzing rainbow using baking soda and vinegar! This fun science activity is easy to set up and will wow you with its vibrant colors and exciting chemical reaction.
In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of water. Add food coloring and stir. Repeat this to make red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.
Spoon each color into its own section of the mini muffin tin.
Put the muffin tin in the freezer for about 30 minutes. This will help the colors stick together.
Take the colors out of the freezer. Pop the colors out of the tin and place them in a plastic bin.
Fill squeeze bottles with vinegar. Squirt the vinegar onto the colors and watch them fizz!
