Pinch the medium pompom with your clothespin to make a 'paint brush'. Lay newspaper on your work surface to keep it clean. Squeeze out some red paint and paint the bottom of your paper plate. You do not need to paint all the way to the edges. Let the paint dry. If you want to skip the mess of paint, use markers or crayons to color your paper plate instead.
